BUSINESS BANK ACCOUNT SUPPORT

Business bank account support in Dubai

We help you understand your options, prepare your application and answer the bank’s questions. Clear explanations, with one contact to guide you.

Send a short enquiry. We’ll reply by email.

The bank reviews your application and decides whether to approve it.

What is a business bank account?

It is an account your company uses to receive payments and pay business expenses. It helps you keep company transactions separate from your personal spending.

A simple example

  1. A customer pays your invoice.
  2. Your company receives the money.
  3. You use the account to pay a supplier.

What you do. What we help with.

You tell us

  • What your company does.
  • Whether it is already registered.
  • Whether you are already living in Dubai.
  • What payments and account features you need.

We help you

  • Understand which account features matter for your business.
  • Make sense of the documents a bank asks for.
  • Help organise your application and documents.
  • Answer the bank’s follow-up questions.
  • Keep track of the next steps with our partners.

You give accurate information and complete the checks the bank asks for. Company Dubai is a private company, not a bank.

What does the bank want to understand?

Who owns the company?

The bank needs to understand who owns and controls the business and who can use the account.

What does your business do?

Explain what you sell or which services you provide.

Where will payments come from?

The bank may ask about your customers, the countries you work with and where the money used to start the business comes from.

How will you use the account?

Will you receive international payments, pay suppliers, handle cash or pay staff?

You may hear these checks called KYC — short for “Know Your Customer”. They help the bank understand the business and the people behind it. Digital applications involve the same kind of identity and business checks, even when you start them in an app. Always give accurate information.

Business banking options to explore

Different accounts suit different businesses. Some combine branches with online services. Others focus on managing your business through an app or website.

Mashreq NEO BIZ

Mashreq’s digital business banking offering, with online applications and account management.

Wio Business

A digital business banking offering from Wio Bank, managed through its app and web tools.

These are examples to explore, not a ranked list or a statement of partnership. Availability and suitability depend on your business and the bank’s current requirements.

What should you compare?

Monthly fees

What does the account cost each month?

Minimum balance

Does the account require you to maintain a certain balance? Check how it is calculated and whether charges apply if you fall below it.

Payments and currencies

Can you send and receive the payments your business needs? Check transfer and currency-conversion costs.

How you use the account

Do you need cash deposits, cheques, branch access, cards for your team or mainly online payments?

A minimum balance is money held in the account. It is not the same as a service fee. We help you ask the right questions; the choice of bank is yours.

Plan my setup

What might the bank ask you for?

Company documents

Your trade licence and documents showing how the company is set up and owned.

See more details: Company documents

Which documents are accepted depends on where and how your company is registered. We go through the bank’s request with you and tell you what is still missing.

Details about the owners and account users

Identification and address information for the owners and the people allowed to use the account.

See more details: Details about the owners and account users

Banks ask for these details to confirm identity. We explain what is being asked for and why, and you send documents directly to the bank or the specialist handling your application — never through this website.

Documents that explain your business

The bank may ask for contracts, invoices, statements or a short explanation of the payments you expect.

See more details: Documents that explain your business

If your company is new, the bank may ask you to describe the business you expect. We help you put together a clear, accurate explanation of how the account will be used.

These are examples, not a universal list. The exact list depends on the bank, company and people involved. We help you understand the requests for your application. Please don’t send passports, statements or banking details through the enquiry form.

Know what you are paying for

Paid to the bank

Account and transaction charges

The bank’s own charges, such as monthly account fees and payment or currency costs.

See what this covers: Account and transaction charges

These are set by the bank and can change. Check them on the bank’s current business banking pages, or ask the bank directly, before you apply.

Paid for help

Agreed support fee

Company Dubai’s or a specialist partner’s fee for the application support you agree to.

See what this covers: Agreed support fee

This covers explaining your options, helping you prepare the application, organising the agreed work with our partners and explaining follow-up questions. Your quote lists what is included and who does it.

Agreed separately

Any other services

Anything else you ask for, such as company formation or ongoing accounting help.

See what this covers: Any other services

These are quoted separately so you can see what each part costs. We explain which partners are involved and any referral fee we receive before you agree to anything.

Your quote explains the help included and what it costs. The bank’s own charges are separate unless your quote explicitly states otherwise. Where a specialist partner does the work, we say so and explain any referral fee we receive before you agree to anything.

Your next steps, explained.

  1. Send us your plans

Complete the short form. You do not need to have chosen a bank.

  2. Understand your options and quote

We’ll reply by email, ask any questions and explain the help included and what it costs.

  3. Get help with your application

Once you agree to the services and price, your dedicated contact organises the application support with our partners.

Questions about business banking in Dubai

Bank requirements, fees and features change. Check the bank’s current official pages, and we’ll go through what applies to your application.

Can you guarantee that my account will be approved?

No. The bank reviews your application and decides whether to open the account. We help you apply, prepare your documents and answer the bank’s questions. We cannot promise an approval or a decision date.

Can I apply for a business bank account online?

Some banks offer digital applications you can start online. That does not remove the checks: the bank still needs to confirm identity, ownership and what your business does, and it may ask for more information before deciding.

What is the difference between a digital bank and online banking?

Online banking is a way to use an account you hold with a bank, including established banks with branches. Some banking offerings are designed mainly around an app or website, with fewer or no branch visits. Rather than choosing by label, compare the actual features you need: payments, currencies, cash handling, cards and support.

Do I need residency or Emirates ID?

It depends on the bank, the account and the people who will operate it. Some applications expect resident documents for the authorised users; others do not. We check what the bank is asking for in your case rather than promising a single answer.

Can a new company apply?

A newly registered company can apply, but the bank assesses eligibility. It may ask for evidence of your planned business, such as contracts, invoices or a clear explanation of expected payments.

How long will the application take?

It depends on the bank, the completeness of your documents, the ownership structure and any follow-up questions. We tell you what the bank has asked for and what is outstanding, but we don’t promise a fixed timeline.

Is banking support included with company formation?

Only if your agreed quote says so. Company formation and bank application support are separate pieces of work, and your quote makes clear which of them you are paying for.

How will you contact me?
